Delivery condition: Hot rolled or forging or black surface, annealed or no heat treatment.

  

Applications:

Carbon steel S45C Used for making die-board,general machinery parts.

Component parts for vehicles, shafts, bushings, crankshafts, connecting rods and parts for the machine building industry and steel for axes, knives, hammers etc.

 

Heat Treatment:

Soft annealing: heat to 550-650°C, cool slowly.

Hardness after annealing: Max. 269HB

Hardening: 820 - 870 °C

Normalizing temperature: 840-870°C

 

Packing situation:

Standard seaworthy packing or as customer required
